For Christmas I decided to get myself a new sculpture for my (proverbial) office. The cool part about this work of art is that it also happens to be a usable tool! It's the Hp-9 dual angle block plane from Bridge City Tool Works.
I love mechanical design, and this thing is a work of art. So, I thought it would be fitting to make an unboxing video about it, and describe some of my thoughts and feelings and tool philosophies as well.

Also, this is my first unboxing video and I just kind of winged it without much prep. In hindsight, I think a few more camera angles and shots of the product would be an improvement, but I'm figuring this stuff out as I go.
